The Modelux Cheltenham Engine Shed is manufactured from multiple layers of 1.3mm multicore board. The side elevation consists of 4 layers in total, making the total depth of the wall 5.2mm.
 
The inner wall features the Fan Light window array, which is astonishinly fine, cut and etched. The next layer is the inner brick reveal, then the outer brick reveal. Finally, the walls feature structural pier arches.
 
The roof consists of structural trusses, which contain notches which fit into slots on the roof outer panels. This is simple to make, but the finished roof looks amazingly complex. The roof contains roof lights between each truss. There are glazing packs available featuring weathered, plain and safety glass varients.
 
The gables feature Modelux Invisiseam (TM). The Invisiseam system comprises of concealed inner pier sections, and flexible thin outer print sections which fit over the structural inner elements, and form and overlap. This allows for the correct depth the the elevation elements without the unsightly seams of the materials.
 
The brick is litho printed, is moisture and UV resistant.
